Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı okul etkililiği konusunda okul yöneticilerinin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma tekniklerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırma için kolayda örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak seçilen 12 okul yöneticisi araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verileri elde etmek için araştırmacı yüz yüze görüşmeler gerçekleştirmiştir. Veri analizinde kullanılmak üzere, görüşme formundan toplanan ham veriler metodolojik olarak işlenmiştir. Veriler içerik analizi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada, okulun etkili olmasını sağlayan en önemli faktörlerin iki tema altında toplandığı görülmüştür. İnsani faktörler arasında işbirliği ve iletişim, personelin nitelikleri ve paydaş aidiyeti öne çıkmaktadır. İnsan dışı faktörler ise projeler ve sosyal faaliyetler, maddi ve fiziksel unsurlar, vizyon ve hedefler, okul kültürü ve iklimi, ve MEB politikası olarak sıralanmıştır. Okulun etkililiğini artırmak için uygulanan stratejilerde de iletişim ve işbirliğine önem vermek, okul kültürü ve aidiyeti güçlendirme, öğretmen motivasyonu ve başarısını destekleme, adil ve katılımcı yönetim, projeler/sosyo-kültürel faaliyetler gibi faktörler öne çıkmaktadır.

The aim of this study is to determine the views of school administrators on school effectiveness. Phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research techniques, was used in this study. The study group consisted of 12 teachers selected using convenience sampling method. Data were collected using a semi-structured interview form. The researcher conducted face-to-face interviews to obtain the data. The raw data collected from the interview form were methodologically processed for data analysis. The data were evaluated using content analysis. In the study, it was seen that the most important factors that make schools effective were grouped under two themes. Among the human factors, cooperation and communication, staff qualifications and stakeholder ownership stand out. Non-human factors are listed as projects and social activities, material and physical elements, vision and goals, school culture and climate, and MoNE policy. In the strategies implemented to increase school effectiveness, factors such as giving importance to communication and cooperation, strengthening school culture and belonging, supporting teacher motivation and achievement, fair and participatory management, projects/socio-cultural activities come to the fore. |
