Abstract

Diyabet olarak da bilinen Şeker Hastalığı antik çağlardan beri ilgi çekici olmuştur. Her dönem; etkileriyle ve bulgularıyla merak konusu olan bu hastalığı tanımaya zaman ayrılmıştır. Tedavisi için pek çok bitkisel kürler denenmiştir. Hemen hemen her medeniyetin bu hastalığın tariflenmesine bir katkısı olmuştur. Medeniyetlerin ortak bir ürünü haline gelen Şeker Hastalığının geleneksel ve halk hekimliği uygulamalarından başlayıp bilimsel olarak ilerleme sürecine kadar bütüncül yaklaşımla bakılması bundan sonraki yapılacak çalışmalara da anlam kazandıracaktır.

Abstract

Diabetes, has been of interest since ancient times. Time has been devoted to recognizing this disease, which is a subject of curiosity with its effects and findings in every period. Many herbal cures have been tried for its treatment. Almost every civilization has contributed to the definition of this disease. Looking at Diabetes, which has become a common product of civilizations, with a holistic approach, starting from traditional and folk medicine practices to the process of scientific progress, will also add meaning to future studies.
