Abstract
2019 yılı itibari ile ortaya çıkan ve 2022 yılı ortalarına gelinen günümüze kadar dönemde devam eden covid-19 hastalığı ve pandemi süreci dünyanın bütün ilgisini sağlık sektörüne yöneltmiştir. Aslında bu süreç sağlık sektörüne yapılan yatırımlar karşılığının göstergesi olmuştur. Sağlık sektörünün gerek çalışanların mesleki bilgi ve becerilerini gösterme başarısı gerekse araç ve gereç tedariğinin zamanında karşılanması gibi birçok faktör ülkelerin bölgesel gelişmişlik düzeyini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Sağlık sektöründe modern medikal araç ve gereçlerin varlığı hastalıkların teşhis ve tedavi süreçlerinin hızlanmasında etkili bir faktördür. Türkiye son yıllarda özellikle medikal sektörün gelişimiyle birlikte sağlık turizminde örnek ülkelerin başında gelmektedir. Pandemi döneminde özellikte tedarikçi firmaların birkaç ülke ile baş rolde olduğu ancak bu tedarikçilerin yetersiz kaldığı gözlenmiştir. Bu nedenle birçok ülke yeni tedarikçi ülke arayışı içine girmiştir. Türkiye medikal sektörde bu dönemde gerek yurt içi talepler gerekse yurt dışı medikal araç ve malzeme tedariğinde tüm ihtiyaçları yerine getirerek önemli başarı elde etmiş ve gelişmiş ülkelerin tedarkçi listesinin başında yer almıştır. Ülkelerin sağlık hizmetlerindeki en önemlisi olan medikal sektörün Türkiye’deki faaliyetlerinin incelenmesi, ihtiyaçlarının öne çıkarılması önemli bir konudur. Bu makalede Türkiye medikal sektör hakkındaki verileri, kriz döneminde yaşanan sorunların incelenmesi yapılarak geleceğe dair yenilikçi modeller ve ürünler konusunda yapılacak olan desteğin ülkemizin gelişimi adına katkıları ele alınmıştır

The covid-19 disease and pandemic process, which emerged as of 2019 and continued until the middle of 2022, has directed all the attention of the world to the health sector. In fact, this process has been an indicator of the return on investments made in the health sector. Many factors such as the success of the health sector in showing the professional knowledge and skills of the employees and the timely supply of tools and equipment have revealed the regional development level of the counttries. The presence of modern medical tools and equipment in the health sector is an effective factor in accelerating the diagnosis and treatment processes of diseases. In recent years, Turkey is one of the leading countires in health tourism, especially with the development of the medical sector. During the pandemic period, it was observed that supplier companies were in the lead role with a few countires but these suppliers were insufficient. Fort his reason, many countries have started to search for new supplier countries. In thsi period, Turkey has achieved significant success in the medical sector by fulfilling all the needs both in domestic demands and in the supply of medical equipment and materials abroad and has been at the top of the supplier list of developed countries. It is an important issue to examine the activities of the medical sector which is the most important of the countries health services, in Turkey and to highlight its needs. In this article, the data about the medical sector in Turkey, the problems experienced during the crisis period and the contribution of the support to the future innovative models and products for the development of our country are discussed.
