Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmen görüşlerine göre öğretim liderliği: nitel bir araştırma yapmaktır. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma tekniklerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırma için kolayda örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak seçilen 22 öğretmen araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verileri elde etmek için araştırmacı yüz yüze görüşmeler gerçekleştirmiştir. Veri analizinde kullanılmak üzere, görüşme formundan toplanan ham veriler metodolojik olarak işlenmiştir. Veriler içerik analizi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre, araştırmada, öğretmen liderliği konusundaki düşünceler üç ana tema altında toplanmıştır: 1) Öğretmenin örnekliği ve etkililiği, 2) Öğrenci yönlendirme ve motivasyon, ve 3) Öğretmenin bilgi ve deneyimi. Katılımcılar, öğretmen liderliğini etkileyen unsurların öğretmenin kişisel ve mesleki özellikleri ile okul dışı faktörler olduğunu belirtmiştir. Ayrıca, öğretmen liderlik eylemlerinin olumsuz etkileri arasında iletişim sorunları, öğrenci özgüvenine zarar verme ve okul ikliminin bozulması gibi faktörler yer almaktadır. |

The aim of this study is to conduct a qualitative research on instructional leadership according to teachers' views. Phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research techniques, was used in this study. The study group consisted of 22 teachers selected using convenience sampling method. Data were collected using a semi-structured interview form. The researcher conducted face-to-face interviews to obtain the data. The raw data collected from the interview form were methodologically processed for data analysis. The data were evaluated using content analysis. According to the findings of the study, the thoughts on teacher leadership were grouped under three main themes: 1) teacher exemplarity and effectiveness, 2) student guidance and motivation, and 3) teacher knowledge and experience. Participants indicated that the factors that influence teacher leadership are the personal and professional characteristics of the teacher and factors outside the school. In addition, negative effects of teacher leadership actions included communication problems, damaging student self-confidence, and deteriorating school climate. |
