Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmenlik mesleğinde stres faktörlerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma tekniklerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırma için kolayda örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak seçilen 12 öğretmen araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verileri elde etmek için araştırmacı yüz yüze görüşmeler gerçekleştirmiştir. Veri analizinde kullanılmak üzere, görüşme formundan toplanan ham veriler metodolojik olarak işlenmiştir. Veriler içerik analizi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bu araştırmaya göre, öğretmenlerde strese neden olan unsurlar dört temada toplanmıştır: öğrencilere ilişkin unsurlar, okul ve yönetime ilişkin unsurlar, velilere ilişkin unsurlar ve mesleki ve iş yükü unsurları. Öğretmenlerin stresini artıran faktörler arasında öğrenci davranışları, yönetici baskısı, kaynak yetersizliği, veli müdahalesi ve iş yükü önemli rol oynamaktadır. Katılımcıların düşüncelerine göre, öğretmenlerde stresin önlenmesi için üç tema altında önemli adımlar önerilmiştir: çalışma koşullarının iyileştirilmesi, öğretmenlere destek verilmesi, velilerle ve yöneticilerle ilişkilerin düzenlenmesi ve karar süreçlerine katılım. Bu bağlamda, ekonomik ve mesleki koşulların geliştirilmesi, motivasyon ve psikolojik destek, iletişim desteği ve karar süreçlerine öğretmen katılımı öne çıkan çözüm önerileri arasındadır.

The aim of this study is to determine the stress factors in the teaching profession. Phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research techniques, was used in this study. The study group consisted of 12 teachers selected using convenience sampling method. Data were collected using a semi-structured interview form. The researcher conducted face-to-face interviews to obtain the data. The raw data collected from the interview form were methodologically processed for data analysis. The data were evaluated using content analysis. According to this study, the factors that cause stress in teachers were categorized into four themes: factors related to students, factors related to school and administration, factors related to parents, and factors related to professional and workload. Among the factors that increase teachers' stress, student behavior, administrative pressure, lack of resources, parental interference and workload play an important role. According to the participants' opinions, important steps were suggested under three themes to prevent stress in teachers: improving working conditions, providing support to teachers, organizing relations with parents and administrators, and participation in decision-making processes. In this context, improving economic and professional conditions, motivation and psychological support, communication support and teacher participation in decision-making processes are among the prominent solution suggestions. |
