Bu çalışmanın amacı ortaokul öğretmenlerinin iş motivasyonunu etkileyen unsurların belirlenmesidir.Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır.Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, kolayda örneklem yaklaşımı kullanılarak araştırmaya dâhil edilen 14 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplamak için yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmacı verileri elde etmek için yüz yüze görüşmeler gerçekleştirmiştir. Görüşme formundan elde edilen ham veriler, veri analizinde kullanılmak üzere yöntemsel olarak hazırlanmıştır. İçerik analizi ile verilerin değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, ortaokul öğretmenlerinin motivasyonunu olumsuz etkileyen durumlar araştırması sonuçlarına göre, öğretmenlerin en çok idare ve öğretmenlerle ilgili sorunlar, öğrencilerin ilgisizlik ve disiplinsizlikleri, velilerin iş birliği eksikliği gibi durumlar motivasyonlarını olumsuz etkilemektedir. Öğretmenler bu durumlarla başa çıkmak için iş birliği ve iletişim, öğrencilere yönelik tutum ve davranışlar, kişisel ve profesyonel davranışlar gibi yöntemleri kullanmaktadır. Motivasyonu olumsuz etkileyen durumların eğitim/öğretim süreçlerine, idare ve okul ortamına ve öğrencilere yansımaları, düşük başarı, sınıf düzeni sorunları ve eğitim kalitesinin düşmesi gibi sonuçlar doğurmaktadır. Öğretmenler, eğitim sistemi ve yönetimiyle ilgili önlemler alınması, kişisel iyileştirme stratejileri uygulanması gibi çözüm önerileri sunmaktadır. |

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the factors affecting the job motivation of secondary school teachers.This study used phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods.The study group of the research consists of parents and 14 teachers who were included in the research using a convenience sampling approach. A semi-structured interview form was used to collect data. The researcher conducted face-to-face interviews to obtain data. The raw data obtained from the interview form were methodologically prepared to be used in data analysis. Content analysis was used to evaluate the data. According to the results of the research on the situations that negatively affect the motivation of secondary school teachers, teachers' motivation is mostly negatively affected by problems related to administration and teachers, students' indifference and indiscipline, and parents' lack of cooperation. Teachers use methods such as cooperation and communication, attitudes and behaviors towards students, personal and professional behaviors to cope with these situations. Situations that negatively affect motivation have repercussions on teaching/learning processes, the administration and school environment, and students, resulting in low achievement, problems with classroom organization, and a decrease in the quality of education. Teachers propose solutions such as taking measures related to the education system and administration and implementing personal improvement strategies.
