Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı öğretmenlerin denetim uygulamaları konusundaki görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan olgubilim (fenomenoloji) deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 17 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırmalarda sıklıkla tercih edilen örnekleme tekniklerinden biri olan amaçlı örnekleme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Bu örnekleme tekniğinde araştırmacı tarafından evreni en iyi temsil ettiği düşünülen bireyler tercih edilmektedir. Araştırmanın katılımcıları okul müdürü tarafından denetlenmiş olan beş öğretmen, kendileri müfettiş tarafından denetlenmiş ve öğretmen denetimi gerçekleştirmiş beş okul müdürü ve beş müfettiştir. Veri toplama sürecinde yapılandırılmamış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Katılımcıların kendilerini rahat ifade edebilmeleri ve çok yönlü veri elde edebilmek amacıyla yapılandırılmamış görüşme formu tercih edilmiştir. Katılımcıların beyanı içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre: katılımcılar, denetim uygulamalarının iyi bir denetim mekanizması ile yürütülmesi halinde olumlu sonuçlar doğuracağına, kaliteli eğitimin önünü açacağına, öğretmenlerin performansını artıracağına, ölçme ve değerlendirme açısından öğretmenlerin hem iyi hem de kötü yanlarını görmelerine olanak sağlayacağına ve denetim uygulamaları sonucunda başarılı olan öğretmenlerin ödüllendirilmesi gerektiğine inanmaktadır. Ancak bir öğretmen bu görüşe katılmamıştır. |

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine teachers' views on supervision practices. Phenomenology, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the study. The study group of the research consists of 17 teachers. Purposive sampling technique, which is one of the sampling techniques frequently preferred in qualitative research, was used in the study. In this sampling technique, individuals who are considered by the researcher to best represent the universe are preferred. The participants of the study were five teachers who were supervised by the school principal, five school principals and five inspectors who were themselves supervised by the inspector and conducted teacher supervision. An unstructured interview form was used in the data collection process. The unstructured interview form was preferred in order for the participants to express themselves comfortably and to obtain multidimensional data. The statements of the participants were analyzed using content analysis method. According to the results obtained from the research: the participants believe that if the supervision practices are carried out with a good supervision mechanism, they will lead to positive results, pave the way for quality education, increase the performance of teachers, allow teachers to see both good and bad sides of teachers in terms of measurement and evaluation, and teachers who are successful as a result of supervision practices should be rewarded. However, one teacher disagreed with this view
