Abstract
Okullarda eğitim öğretim sürecinin sorunsuz biçimde yaşanması ve okulda bulundukları süreç boyunca öğrencilerin olası tehlikelerden korunması gerekmektedir. Bu sebeplerle nöbetçi öğretmen uygulaması yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, nöbet görevinin öğretmenler için ne ifade ettiğine, gerekli görülüp görülmediğine, nöbet esnasında ne tür sorunlar yaşandığına dair öğretmen görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Nitel araştırma yöntemiyle yapılan bu çalışmada fenomonoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu 5 kadın ve 5 erkek öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Katılımcılar en az 10 kıdem yılına sahiptir ve son 10 yıldır nöbetçi öğretmenlik görevleri bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, veri toplama yöntemi olarak görüşme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı ise yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formudur. Veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, nöbet görevinin öğretmenler için ne anlama geldiğine, öğretmenlerin nöbet görevinin gerekliliğine, nöbet esnasında yaşanan sorunlara ve çözüm önerilerine dair görüşlerine ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
The educational process in schools should be smooth and students should be protected from possible dangers during their stay in school. For these reasons, duty teacher practice is carried out. The aim of this study is to reveal the opinions of the teachers about what the duty means to the teachers, whether it is considered necessary or not, and what kind of problems are experienced during the duty. In this study, which was conducted with the qualitative research method, the phenomenology design was used. The study group consists of 5 female and 5 male teachers. Participants have at least 10 years of seniority and have been on duty teacher positions for the last 10 years. In this study, interview method was used as data collection method. The data collection tool is a semi-structured interview form. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis method. As a result of the research, it has been reached what the duty means for the teachers, the necessity of the duty according to the teachers, the problems experienced on their duty days and the suggestions for solutions.
