Abstract
Sanat eserlerinde çeşitli imgeler, geçmişten günümüze değin konu edinilerek sanatçılara ilham kaynağı olmuştur. Sanat eserlerinde imge kullanımı, ilham kaynağı oluşturmanın yanı sıra sanat eserinin temasını belirleyip bazen de sanatçının sanatsal dönemleri hakkında bilgi edinmemizi sağlamaktadır. Rembrandt dönemine, gravür ve yağlı boya tekniğinde ele aldığı çalışmalarıyla damga vurmuş, ışık-gölge tekniği ve ayrıntıcı ifadeci üslubuyla kendinden sonra gelen birçok sanatçıya ilham kaynağı olmuştur. Gravürlerinde ele aldığı ağaç, kadın, yaşlı, soylu, dilenci gibi imgeleri kullanarak yaşamında onu etkileyen temalara vurgu yapmıştır. Yoksulluğu, çaresizliği anlatması sebebiyle dilenci imgesi, yaşamın hüzün dolu tarafını ifade etmiş dolayısıyla gravürlerinde önemli bir yere sahip olmuştur. Bu araştırmada literatür taraması yapılmış ve Rembrandt’ın 13 dilenci imgesi barındıran gravürlerinin ihtiva ettiği detayları belirlemek amacıyla, eser analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Sonuçta, dilenci imgesi barındıran bu gravürlerin 7’si açık kompozisyon 6’sı kapalı kompozisyondan oluşmakta olup bunların 4’ü kadın, 6’sı erkek, 3’ü ise hem kadın hem erkek imgelerini aynı anda barındırmaktadır. Dilenci imgesinin çağrıştırdığı kambur duruş, elde baston, yırtık ve yamalı giysiler, eskimiş ayakkabı, tahta bacak, soğuktan korunmak için şal, şapka ve el ısıtılan ufak mangal gibi simgeler bu gravürlerde görülmüştür.

Abstract
Various images in works of art have been a source of inspiration for artists, from the past to the present. The use of image in works of art, besides creating a source of inspiration, determines the theme of the work of art and sometimes provides us with information about the artistic periods of the artist. Rembrandt left his mark on the period with his works in etching and oil painting techniques, and became a source of inspiration for many artists who came after him with his light-shadow technique and detailed expressive style. He emphasized the themes that affected him in his life by using images such as tree, woman, old, noble and beggar that he dealt with in his etchings. The beggar image, as it describes poverty and desperation, has an important place in his etchings, expressing the sad side of life. In this research, a literature review was made and the artwork analysis method was used to determine the meanings of Rembrandt's etchings containing 13 beggar images. As a result, 7 of these etchings containing beggar images are open compositions and 6 are closed compositions, of which 4 are female, 6 are male, and 3 contain both female and male images at the same time. Symbols such as the hunchbacked posture evoked by the beggar image, a walking stick in the hand, torn and patched clothes, worn shoes, wooden legs, a shawl, a hat and a hand-warmed small barbecue for protection from the cold were also seen in these etchings.
