Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmen görüşlerine göre ideal müdür beklentilerinin değerlendirilmesidir.Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, kolayda örneklem yaklaşımı kullanılarak araştırmaya dâhil edilen 14 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplamak için yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmacı verileri elde etmek için yüz yüze görüşmeler gerçekleştirmiştir. Görüşme formundan elde edilen ham veriler, veri analizinde kullanılmak üzere yöntemsel olarak hazırlanmıştır. İçerik analizi ile verilerin değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Bu araştırma, öğretmenlerin ideal bir müdürden beklentilerini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, öğretmenlerin eğitim-öğretim açısından en çok destek ve motivasyon uygulamaları, disiplin ve yönetimle ilgili beklentiler ve fiziksel ortam ve materyal beklentileri olduğu belirlenmiştir. Liderlik ve yönetim açısından ise öğretmenlerin yöneticilerden nitelikli liderlik becerileri, adil ve eşit davranma, iyi iletişim becerileri ve idari konularda beklentileri bulunmaktadır. Okul-çevre ilişkisi açısından öğretmenler, çevreyle iletişim ve ilişkilerin güçlendirilmesi, etkinlikler ve iş birliği, bilgi ve yetenekler konusunda beklentilere sahiptir. Son olarak, mesleki performans açısından öğretmenlerin motivasyon ve desteklenme, mesleki gelişim ve liderlik, iyi iletişim ve çalışma ortamı beklentileri bulunmaktadır.

The aim of this study is to evaluate ideal principal expectations according to teachers' views. In this study, phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The study group consisted of 14 teachers and parents who were included in the study using a convenience sampling approach. A semi-structured interview form was used to collect data. The researcher conducted face-to-face interviews to obtain data. The raw data obtained from the interview form were methodologically prepared to be used in data analysis. Content analysis was used to evaluate the data. This study was conducted to evaluate teachers' expectations from an ideal principal. According to the results of the study, it was determined that teachers had the highest expectations for support and motivation practices, discipline and management expectations, and physical environment and materials in terms of education. In terms of leadership and management, teachers expect qualified leadership skills, fair and equal treatment, good communication skills and administrative issues from administrators. In terms of school-environment relations, teachers have expectations for strengthening communication and relations with the environment, activities and cooperation, knowledge and skills. Finally, in terms of professional performance, teachers have expectations for motivation and support, professional development and leadership, good communication and working environment. |
