Abstract
Çalışmanın amacı; 21. Yy da video sanatı ile eser üreten Türk sanatçı Ergin Çavuşoğlu eserlerini biçim, anlam ve söylem ilişkisi bağlamında çözümleyerek video sanatındaki yeri ve önemini keşfetmektir. Bu doğrultuda çalışma hermeneutik desenine göre yürütülmüştür. Ergin Çavuşoğlu’na ait Sessiz Kayma, Kristal ve Alev ve Tarot ve Satranç, adlı eserler çalışma grubunu oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak doküman ve mülakat kullanılmıştır. Videolar, sanatçının sanatsal süreci göz önünde bulundurularak biçim, anlam ve söylem ilişkisi bağlamında çözümlenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler sanatçı ile yapılan görüşme neticesinde ulaşılan bulgularla birlikte çalışmanın önemi bakımından derinlemesine incelenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Çalışma grubunda yer verilen eserlerin İtalo Calvino ve Tolstoy’un edebi eserlerinden yola çıkarak üretildiği görülmüştür. Çavuşoğlu’nun kendi hayatından yansımaların olduğu seyahat ve göç kavramların yanı sıra, video enstalasyonları mekansızlık ve sınırsız olma kavramlarıyla da temellendirilmiştir. Kavramların ele alınış biçimlerinin yer yer gerçeküstücü bir ifadeye sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
The aim of study is to explore the importance of the works of Turkish artist Ergin Çavuşoğlu, who produced his works with video art in the 21st century, by analyzing the context of the relationship of form, meaning and discourse. In this direction, the study was conducted according to the hermeneutic pattern. Sessiz Kayma, Kristal ve Alev ve Tarot ve Satranç by Ergin Çavuşoğlu are the works that make up the working group. As data collection tools, documents and interviews were used. The videos were analyzed in the context of the relationship of form, meaning and discourse, taking into account the artistic ıprocess of the artist. The obtained data, were thoroughly analyzed and interpreted in terms of the importance of the work with the findings obtained as a result of the interview with the artist, together with the findings obtained as a result of the interview with the artist t was observed that the works in the study group were produced based on the literary works of Italo Calvino and Tolstoy. In addition to the concepts of travel and immigration, which reflects the Çavuşoğlu's own life, it is also based on the concepts of spacelessness and unlimitedness of video installations. It has been concluded that the way the concepts are handled in a surrealistic manner.
