Abstract
Âyetlerin anlamını açıklama ve tefsir etme çabası, Kur'ân'ın indirilmesi ile başlamıştır. Âyetleri anlama çabasında olan sahâbe, bu konudaki bilgileri Hz. Peygamber'den öğrenme imkanına sahip olmuştur. Tâbiîn ise, sahâbeden öğrendiği tefsir bilgilerini detaylandırarak sonraki nesle aktarmıştır. Sahâbe ve tâbiîn döneminde henüz tefsir eserleri tedvin edilmemiş olsa da, bu dönem tefsir açısından çok önemlidir. Zira sahâbe ve tâbiîn, İslam'ın erken döneminde yaşamış ve tefsir konusunda açıklamalar yapan ilk nesil olma imkanına sahip olmuşlardır. Daha sonra gelen müfessirler, eserlerini yazarken öncelikle onların tefsirini göz önüne almıştır. Bu çalışmamızda Hz. Peygamber'den başlayarak, sahâbe ve tâbiîn döneminde tefsirin nasıl bir gelişme gösterdiği konusu incelenmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmamızda sahâbe ve tâbiîn tefsirinin önemi ve bağlayıcılığı araştırma konusu yapılmıştır

Abstract
Explanations and studies about tafsir started in the early period. The first explanations of the verses about the interpretation of the Companions generation Hz. He learned from the Prophet. Tâbiîn, on the other hand, elaborated the commentary information he learned from the Companions and taught it to the next generation. Even though the tafsir works were not studied in the period of Companions and Tabibians, this period is very important in terms of tafsir. For, it is the generations that first put forward an opinion on the subject of interpretation. Later commentators, while writing their works, first of all considered their interpretation. In this study, Hz. The development of tafsir in the period of the Companions and Tabiîn starting from the Prophet has been examined. In addition, in our study, the importance and connectivity of the commentary of the Companions and Tabiîn has been investigated.
