Abstract
Bir dokunuşla dijital dünyaya geçişin artması; haber kaynaklarına ulaşımı kolaylaştırmıştır. Covid-19’un haber kaynaklarında yer verilmesi ile birlikte hükümetler konu ile ilgili görüşler paylaşıp, gerekli düzenlemeleri haberler aracılığı ile halka duyurmuşlardır. Ancak hükümetlerin görüş ve uygulamalarının birbirinden farklı olması süreci yönetmede büyük bir problem olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada vaka sayısı çok olan ABD ve İngiltere ile vaka sayısı nispeten diğer ülkelere göre az olan Türkiye ve İsrail’in Covid-19 sürecinde ülke liderlerinin tutumlarının analiz edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmada ülkelerin en büyük haber platformlardan “BBC News”, “ABC News”, “TRT Haber” ve “Haaretz.com”, platformlarına “korona virüs” ve “covid-19” başlıkları ile yapılan hükümet söylemlerini incelemek için içerik analizi ve Van Dijk’ın eleştirel söylem analizi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak vaka sayısının çok olduğu ülkelerden olan İngiltere ve ABD’de suçlayıcı, endişe verici politik söylemlerin fazla olduğu tespit edilirken vaka sayısının az olduğu ülkelerden olan Türkiye ve İsrail’de ise tedbir alıcı toplumu bilgilendirici toplumsal söylemlerin ağır bastığı tespit edilmiştir.

Increasing the transition to the digital world with a single touch; It facilitated access to news sources. With the coverage of Covid-19 in news sources, governments shared their opinions on the issue and announced the necessary regulations to the public through news. However, the differences in the views and practices of the governments appear as a big problem in managing the process. Therefore, we aimed to analyze the attitude of the leader country ABD and England because this countrys have in large number of cases Turkey and Israel because this countrys have in low number of covid-19 cases than other country. In the study, content analysis was carried out to examine the government statements made to the platforms of the largest news platforms "BBC News", "ABC News", "TRT News" and "Haaretz.com", with the headlines "corona virus" and "covid-19". and van dijk's critical discourse analysis methods were used. As a result, while it is determined that there are many accusing and worrying political discourses in the UK and ABD, which are among the countries with a high number of cases, The small number of cases from countries where the recipient of the measures Turkey and Israel informative society outweigh social discourses have been identified.
