Tarihi Dizilerin Sosyal Bilgiler Derslerindeki Kültürel Kavramların Pekiştirilmesine Etkisinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract
İnsan, doğumundan itibaren kendini sosyal ve kültürel yaşamın içerisinde bulur. İnsanın yaşadığı toplumun bir parçası haline gelmesini sağlayan, çevresiyle kurduğu bağlar, yani dış dünyayla olan iletişimidir. Kitle iletişim araçları içinde en fazlaya kitleye hitap eden, en etkili olan araç televizyondur. Televizyon dünyada bilgi akışından farklı etnik kültürlerin aktarımına kadar geniş yelpazesi olan kitle iletişim aracıdır. Belgesel, müzik ve haber programları, filmler ve diziler bu iletişim aracı aracılıyla büyük kitlelere ulaştırılmaktadır. Televizyon dizileri geniş halk kitlelerini etkisi altına alan ve kurguları gerçekmiş gibi algı oluşturabilen en etkili kitlesel araçlardır. Tarihi diziler, tarihi olayları konu alan görsel yapıtlardır. Tarihi filmler özellikle toplumumuz tarafından ilgi gören görsel yapıt olarak, tarihi anlama ve tarihi öğretme konusunda önemli rol oynar. Bu görsel yapıtta senarist tarihi olgu/olaylara ne kadar sadık kalmıştır? Yapımcı, izlenme endişesi ile mi yoksa izleyiciye tarih bilinci oluşturmak amacıyla mı dizi çekimleri yapılmıştır? Eğitimdeki yararlılık durumu nedir?
Bu çalışma “Tarihi Dizilerin (Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu, Alparslan: Büyük Selçuklu, Diriliş: Ertuğrul, Kuruluş: Osman) Sosyal Bilgiler derslerindeki Kültürel Kavramların Somutlaştırılması/Pekiştirilmesine Etkisinin Değerlendirilmesi” için yapılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bir devlet okulunda okuyan 6. ve 7. Sınıf konularını görmüş ve popüler tarih dizilerini sürekli izleyen 8. Sınıf öğrencilerinden 23 öğrencinin katılımı ile araştırma sürdürülmüştür. Araştırmada öğrenciler için hazırlanan form ve yüzyüze görüşme notlarından elde edilen veriler kullanılmıştır.

Abstract
Man finds himself in social and cultural life since his birth. It is the ties that a person establishes with his environment, that is, his communication with the outside world, that enables him to become a part of the society he lives in. Among the mass media, television is the most effective and most effective tool. Television is a mass communication tool that has a wide range from the flow of information to the transmission of different ethnic cultures in the world. Documentaries, music and news programs, films and serials are delivered to large masses through this communication tool. Television serials are the most effective mass tools that can affect large masses of people and create a perception as if their fictions are real. Historical TV series are visual works about historical events. Historical films play an important role in understanding and teaching history, especially as visual works that are of interest to our society. How faithful is the screenwriter to historical facts/events in this visual work? Did the producer shoot the series with the fear of being watched or to create a historical awareness for the audience? What are the benefits for education?
This study was conducted for the "Evaluation of the Effect of Historical TV Series (Awakening: Great Seljuk, Alparslan: Great Seljuk, Diriliş: Ertuğrul, Establishment: Osman) on the Concretization/Reinforcement of Cultural Concepts in Social Studies courses". Qualitative research method was used in the research. The research was continued with the participation of 23 8th grade students who watched the 6th and 7th grade subjects in a public school and constantly watched popular history series. In the research, the data obtained from the forms prepared for the students and the notes of the face-to-face interviews were used.
