Abstract
Sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının zihinlerinde çevre sorunlarına ilişkin algılarını ortaya koymayı amaçlayan bu araştırmada “Öğretmen adaylarının zihin haritasına yansıyan en önemli çevre sorunları nelerdir?” sorusuna cevap aranmıştır. Sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının zihin haritalarında çevre sorunlarını ortaya koymak amacıyla yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ve zihin haritası tekniğinin içerik analizinin yapıldığı nitel bir araştırmadır. Araştırma sosyal bilgiler öğretmenliği bölümünde okuyan ve seçmeli olarak çevre eğitimi dersi gören 29 öğretmen adayı ile birlikte yapılmıştır. Örneklem seçme yöntemlerinden amaçlı örnekleme ve kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi kullanılarak araştırma yürütülmüştür. Katılımcıların çevre sorunları algılarını belirlemek amacıyla zihin haritaları kullanılmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarından “Küresel çevre sorunları nelerdir?” sorusuna yönelik olarak zihin haritası çizmeleri istenmiştir. Ayrıca öğretmen adaylarından 3 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formunu da doldurmaları istenmekte ve araştırmacı tarafından toplanan görüşme formu ile uygulama tamamlanmaktadır. Araştırma sonuçları incelendiğinde sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının zihinlerinde birbirinden farklı 30 tane küresel çevre sorunu belirmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının büyük bir bölümü dünyanın neresinde olursa olsun yaşanacak çevre problemlerinin herkesi etkileyeceğini belirtmiştir. Aile ve okulda verilecek çevre eğitimi yoluyla çevre sorunlarının ortaya çıkmasının kısmen de olsa azaltılabileceği yönünde görüş bildirmişlerdir. Ancak sadece çocuklara verilecek eğitimin yeterli olmadığını yetişkinlerin de mutlaka çevre bilincine sahip olması gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir.

Abstract
In this study, which aims to reveal the perceptions of social studies teacher candidates about environmental problems in their minds, "What are the most important environmental problems reflected in the mind maps of teacher candidates?" search for an answer to the question. It is qualitative research in which the content analysis of semi-structured interview form and mind map technique is done in order to reveal environmental problems in the mind maps of social studies teacher candidates. The research was carried out with 29 teacher candidates studying in the department of social studies teaching and taking environmental education as an elective. The research was carried out by using purposive sampling and easily accessible sampling among the sampling methods. Mind maps were used to determine the participants' perceptions of environmental problems. One of the pre-service teachers' "What are the global environmental problems?" They were asked to draw a mind map for the question. In addition to this application, pre-service teachers were asked to fill in a semi-structured interview form consisting of 3 questions and the application ended with the collection of the interview forms by the researcher. When the results of the research were examined, 30 different global environmental problems emerged in the minds of social studies teacher candidates. Most of the pre-service teachers stated that no matter where they are in the world, environmental problems will affect everyone. They expressed the opinion that the emergence of environmental problems can be reduced, even partially, through environmental education to be given in the family and at school. However, they stated that the education to be given only to children is not enough, and that adults should also have environmental awareness.
