Abstract
Ortaokul matematik dersi örüntü ve süslemeler konusunu ele alan bu çalışmada temel amaç; 2005-2020 yılları arasında Dergipark ve Google Akademik veri tabanlarında yayınlanmış makaleler ve Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu Tez Merkezinde erişime açık olan tezlerden örüntü ve süslemeler konusunu ele alan tezleri belirleyerek çeşitli parametrelere göre incelemektir. Ortaokul matematik dersi örüntü ve süslemeler konusunda yapılan çalışmaların incelendiği bu araştırma nitel araştırma yaklaşımı çerçevesinde yürütülmüş olup araştırma deseni doküman incelemesidir. Örüntü ve süslemeler konusunda; 2005 ile 2020 yılları arasında 8 farklı üniversitenin 3 farklı enstitüsünde 9 yüksek lisans tezi ve 4 doktora tezi; 13 farklı bilimsel dergide 21 araştırma makalesi yayınlamıştır. Yayımlanan tezlerin genel olarak üniversitelerin Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüleri kapsamında yapıldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Örüntü ve süslemeler konusunda yapılan araştırmaların azlığı nedeniyle konu ile ilgili araştırma yapılmasının teşvik edilmesi önerilmektedir.

Abstract
The main purpose of this study, which deals with the subject of patterns and ornaments in secondary school mathematics, is; The aim of the study is to determine and analyze the theses that deal with the subject of patterns and ornaments from the articles published in Dergipark and Google Academic databases between 2005-2020 and the theses that are open to access in the Higher Education Institution Thesis Center. This research, which examines the studies on patterns and ornaments in secondary school mathematics lesson, was carried out within the framework of qualitative research approach, and the research design is document analysis. On patterns and decorations; Between 2005 and 2020, 9 master's theses and 4 doctoral theses in 3 different institutes of 8 different universities; He has published 21 research articles in 13 different scientific journals. It was concluded that the theses published were generally made within the scope of the Educational Sciences Institutes of the universities. Due to the scarcity of research on patterns and ornaments, it is recommended to encourage research on the subject.
