ÖĞRETMENLERİN BAKIŞ AÇILARINDAN EĞİTİMDE KULLANILAN DERS KİTAPLARININ NİTELİK SORUNLARI VE YARDIMCI KAYNAK KİTAP KULLANIMI

Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, ders kitaplarının nitelik sorunları ve yardımcı kitap kullanımı hakkında öğretmenlerin düşüncelerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu farklı branşlarda ve düzeylerdeki okullarda görev yapmakta olan 8 öğretmenden meydana gelmektedir. Çalışma nitel araştırma desenlerinden olgubilim deseni kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Veriler araştırmacıların hazırladığı yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yöntemine uygun olarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre çalışmaya katılan öğretmenlerin büyük çoğunluğu ders kitaplarının bazı nitelik sorunları olduğunu dile getirmişlerdir. Ayrıca öğretmenler ders kitaplarının soru çeşidi ve sayısı bakımından yetersiz olduklarını; bundan dolayı yardımcı kaynaklara ihtiyaç duyduklarını belirtmişlerdir. Çalışmaya katılan öğretmenler ders kitaplarının niteliğinin arttırılması için öğrencinin aktif olacağı etkinlikler arttırılmalı, konu anlatımı açık ve anlaşılır olmalı, soru sayısı arttırılmalı, kitaplar müfredata uygun olarak yazılmalı, kitaplar alanında uzman kişiler tarafından hazırlanmalı ve kitaplar sınav sistemine ve öğrenci düzeyine uygun olmalı şeklinde birtakım önerilerde bulunmuşlardır. Araştırmacılar ders kitaplarının öğretmen ve öğrencilerin başka kaynaklara ihtiyaç duymalarını önleyecek şekilde donanımlı hale getirilmesi gerektiği sonucuna ulaşmışlardır.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to reveal teachers' thoughts about the quality problems of the textbooks and the use of supplementary books. The study group of this research consists of 8 volunteer teachers working in different branches and schools at different levels. This research has been conducted by phenomenological research design a qualitative research approach. The data has been collected using a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researchers. The obtained data has been analyzed in accordance with the descriptive analysis method. According to the findings of this research, most of the teachers who participated in this research stated that the textbooks had some quality problems. In addition, teachers stated that the textbooks were insufficient in terms of question type and number; therefore, they needed auxiliary resources. Teachers have offered the following suggestions: the number of activities should be increased for students’ active participation, the lecturing should be clear and understandable, the number of questions should be increased", textbooks should be written according to the curriculum, textbooks should be prepared by experts in the field, and textbooks should be suitable for the exam system and student level. The researchers concluded that the textbooks should be equipped in a way that prevents teachers and students from needing other resources.
