Abstract
Kültürel değerler turizmde çekicilik unsuru yaratarak kent tanıtımında üstünlük sağlamaktadır. Özellikle Bartın gibi yeni gelişmekte olan destinasyonlarda ürün ve hizmetleri farklı sunulara dönüştürebilmek, kuvvetli rekabetin yaşandığı pazar koşullarında kentin tutunabilmesi açısından oldukça önemlidir. Bu kapsamda çalışmada, coğrafi işaret tescilli olan Bartın işi tel kırma sanatının turizm değeri olarak önemine değinilmektedir. Coğrafi işaret almış geleneksel bir ürün olmasına karşın turistik açıdan yaşadığı ürünleştirme problemi ortaya konmakta ve geliştirilmesine yönelik öneriler sunulmaktadır.

Abstract
Cultural values, creating an element of attractiveness in tourism provides the advantage in the promotion of the city. Especially in newly developing destinations such as Bartın, being able to transform products and services into different offers is very important for the city to hold on in market conditions where there is strong competition. In this context, the importance of Bartın's Wire-Breaking, which is registered with geographical indication, as a tourism value is mentioned in the study. Although it is a traditional product with a geographical indication, the productization problem it has experienced in terms of tourism is revealed and suggestions for its development are presented.
