Abstract
Bu araştırma öğretmen adaylarının yazmaya ilişkin serbest yazma tutumları ve bunların birtakım değişkenlerden nasıl etkilendiğini belirlemek gayesi ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmada öğretmen adaylarının serbest yazma tutumları cinsiyet, anne-baba eğitim düzeyi, son bir senede okudukları kitap adedi ve bölüm değişkenleri açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırma nicel araştırma yaklaşımı çerçevesinde tarama modeli kapsamında düzenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi rastgele örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiş olup Amasya Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde okuyan 142 öğretmen adayından meydana gelmektedir. Araştırmada veri elde etmek amacı ile araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ile Ayrancı ve Temiztürk (2017) tarafından geliştirilen “Eğitim Fakültesi Öğrencilerinin Serbest Yazma Tutumları Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, frekans, yüzde, t-testi, tek yönlü varyans (one-way ANOVA) ve Kruskal Wallis-H testinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma neticesinde, serbest yazmaya ilişkin tutumun öğretmen adaylarının bir yıl içinde okudukları kitap sayısına ve eğitim gördükleri bölüme göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir.

Abstract
The recent research was conducted to determine the free writing attitudes of pre-service teachers towards writing and to what extent these attitudes were affected by some variables. In the research, teacher candidates’ free writing attitudes were examined in terms of gender, parents' education level, the number of books they read in the last year and department variables. The research is designed according to the quantitative research method. The sample of this research was determined by random sampling method and consists of 142 teacher candidates studying at Amasya University College of Education. In order to collect data within the scope of the research, the "Personal Information Form" prepared by the researcher and the "Free Writing Attitudes Scale of the Faculty of Education Students" developed by Ayrancı and Temiztürk (2017) were applied. In the analysis of the data, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, frequency, percentage, t-test, one-way variance (one-way ANOVA) and Kruskal Wallis-H test were used. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the attitude towards free writing significantly differs according to the number of books that prospective teachers read in a year and the department they continue their education.
