Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, erken çocukluk eğitiminde kullanılan resimli öykü kitaplarında Birleşmiş Milletler Kalkınma Programı (UNDP) tarafından belirlenen 2030 Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Amaçlarının ne sıklıkta yer aldığını belirlemektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış ve veriler, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen “Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Amaçları ve Hedefleri Formu” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında erken çocukluk eğitiminde kullanılan 64 resimli öykü kitabı, Birleşmiş Milletlerin belirlediği 17 sürdürülebilir kalkınma amacı doğrultusunda içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir.Araştırma sonucunda, kitaplarda en fazla yer verilen amacın Nitelikli Eğitim olduğu; bunu Sağlık ve Kaliteli Yaşam, Karasal Yaşam, Barış, Adalet ve Güçlü Kurumlar, Sorumlu Üretim ve Tüketimileİklim Eylemi amaçlarının izlediği belirlenmiştir. Bulgular, kitapların daha çok insan odaklı sosyal gelişimveçevre koruma temaları etrafında şekillendiğini göstermektedir. Buna karşılık; Eşitsizliklerin Azaltılması, Sürdürülebilir Şehirler ve Topluluklar, Temiz Su ve Sanitasyon, Toplumsal Cinsiyet Eşitliği, Açlığa Son, Sanayi, Yenilikçilik ve Altyapı, İnsana Yakışır İş ve Ekonomik Büyüme ile Erişilebilir ve Temiz Enerji gibi ekonomik sürdürülebilirlik boyutlarına kitaplarda daha az yer verilmiştir. En az yer alan küresel amacın ise Yoksulluğa Son olduğu görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak, çocuk kitaplarında sürdürülebilirliğin yalnızca çevresel ve toplumsal yönleriyle değil, ekonomik ve teknolojik sürdürülebilirlik boyutlarıyla da dengeli biçimde temsil edilmesi önem taşımaktadır. Bu doğrultuda, yazar, editör ve illüstratörlerin az temsil edilen amaçlara yönelik yeni öyküler üretmeleri; kamu kurumları, sivil toplum kuruluşları ve yerel yönetimlerin ise sürdürülebilir kalkınma bilincini artırmaya yönelik politikalar geliştirmeleri önerilmektedir.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine how frequently the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for the 2030 Agenda are represented in picture storybooks used in early childhood education. The study employed a qualitative research design, and data were collected using the “Sustainable Development Goals and Targets Form” developed by the researcher. A total of 64 picture storybooks used in early childhood education were analyzed through content analysis based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals identified by the United Nations.The findings revealed that the most frequently represented goal in the books was Quality Education, followed by Good Health and Well-being, Life on Land, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, Responsible Consumption and Production, andClimate Action. The results indicate that the books predominantly emphasize themes related tohuman-centered social developmentand environmental protection.In contrast, goals associated with the economic dimension of sustainability, such as Reduced Inequalities, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Clean Water and Sanitation, Gender Equality, Zero Hunger, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Affordable and Clean Energy, were represented less frequently. The least represented global goal was found to be No Poverty.In conclusion, it is important for children’s books to represent sustainability not only through its environmental and social aspects but also through its economic and technological dimensions in a balanced manner. Accordingly, it is recommended that authors, editors, and illustrators create new stories that address underrepresented goals, and that public institutions, non-governmental organizations, and local administrations develop policies aimed at increasing awareness of sustainable development.
