Abstract
هذا البحث جزء من رسالة دكتوراه في الفقه وأصول في جامعة بينغول التركية، وهي قيد التحضير للمناقشة، ويقوم هذا المقال ببيان أهمية دراسة ومعرفة علل الأحكام الفقهية، وباستقراء كتاب اللباب بشكل كامل، والنظر في سائر المسائل والأحكام التي تضمنها، بدأ من باب الطهارة ومروراً بالعبادات، ثم المعاملات، وحتى نهايته، ثم جمع الأحكام التي عللها الإمام المحاملي ضمن ترتيب موضعها في الكتاب، وتوثيقها من أمهات كتب الفقه الشافعية، مع إيضاح التعليل، ومن علل به من الفقهاء، وبيان بعض الجوانب المتعلقة بالمسألة المذكورة، فرغم ان كتاب اللباب من مختصرات الكتب الفقهية فإنه لم يخلو من بعض التعليلات الفقهية التي أوردها الامام المحاملي، لأن في دراسة وبيان ذلك ما يسهم بشكل واسع في بيان جانب من الجوانب الهامة في حياة المصنف، وكذلك بيان سعة علم الإمام، وطريقته في تحليل المسائل وإظهار عللها التي يمكن القياس عليها، وبيان مكانته الفقهية في المذهب الشافعية، فجاء هذا المقال مرتباً من مقدمة تضمنت الإشارة لأهم الجوانب البحثية مما هو متعارف عليه في أصول البحث العلمي، ولكن دون تفصيل في ذلك، ومن توطئة ببيان أهمية دراسة علل الأحكام الفقهية، ومن تعريف للتعليل عند العلماء وبيان معناه، ثم بذكر الأحكام التي عللها الإمام المحاملي، وختمت هذا المقال بخاتمة تبين أهم الجوانب فيما تمت دراسته، بالإضافة لأهم التوصيات للباحثين، وبفهرس للمصادر والمراجع التي ورد الرجوع إليها في الهامش.

Abstract
This research is part of a doctoral dissertation in Islamic Jurisprudence and its Principles at Bingöl University in Turkey, which is under preparation for discussion. This article aims to demonstrate the importance of studying and understanding the rationales behind Islamic legal rulings. By thoroughly examining the book "Al-Lubab" and considering all the issues and rulings it contains, starting from the chapter on purification, through acts of worship, then transactions, and up to its end, the rulings rationalized by Imam Al-Mahamili were collected in the order of their placement in the book. They were documented from the primary sources of Shafi'i jurisprudence, with clarification of the rationale, the jurists who provided rationales, and some aspects related to the mentioned issue. Despite "Al-Lubab" being a summary of jurisprudential books, it includes some legal rationales provided by Imam Al-Mahamili. Studying and explaining these rationales significantly contributes to highlighting an important aspect of the author's life, demonstrating the Imam's vast knowledge, his method in analyzing issues, and revealing their underlying rationales that can be used for analogy. It also highlights his jurisprudential standing in the Shafi'i school of thought. This article is structured with an introduction that outlines the most important research aspects commonly found in scientific research principles, without detailed elaboration. It includes a preface explaining the importance of studying the rationales behind Islamic legal rulings, a definition of rationale according to scholars and its meaning, followed by a presentation of the rulings rationalized by Imam Al-Mahamili. The article concludes with a summary highlighting the most important aspects of the study, along with key recommendations for researchers, and a bibliography of the sources and references cited in the footnotes.
